Sara Spissu is a biologist and science communicator who has made complexity the core of her work. Her experience ranges from environmental education to European project design, from training environmental and hiking guides to developing STEM pathways in schools. As co-founder of a science outreach association, she brought innovative extracurricular programs into primary and secondary classrooms, combining natural sciences, nutrition, and new technologies.
Today she works as a consultant for Cittadinanzattiva Sardegna, where she designs and delivers educational and participatory projects, and she serves as an Ambassador for the European project ECHO, focused on Citizen Science and soil mapping. She also coordinated the Community Pro initiative in Monserrato, engaging residents in rediscovering their territory through dialogue and collective participation.
Convinced that conflict is not an obstacle but a driver of growth, she brings strong communication skills, empathy, and trust-building to her projects. For her, every community is an ecosystem—complex, fragile, and vital—that requires care and collaboration to flourish.
