Alfiya Kayumova is the co-founder and CEO of Green Growth, a fast-scaling agritech startup with offices in Latvia and Spain, committed to transforming data into actionable solutions for farmers. Raised on a 500-hectare family farm, Alfiya’s path took her from rural fields to investment banking and back again, blending her firsthand understanding of farming with a sharp business acumen.
After a decade in finance and M&A, she returned to agriculture with a mission: to co-design tools that farmers actually need. Her work is grounded in real-world conversations with growers, leading to the development of yield mapping systems and other precision tools that boost efficiency and sustainability.
A winner of the 2023 Women in Ag Award in Technology & Research, Alfiya is also a strong advocate for female leadership in agriculture and for collaboration over competition. She believes that innovation must come with empathy, trust, and tangible impact—especially in the face of climate challenges.
Through Green Growth, she not only builds technology but nurtures long-term partnerships that empower farmers to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing world.
