With a degree in Political Science and postgraduate specialisation in European project design, he has worked across public institutions and local development projects for over two decades. His professional path began in social policies and vocational training and later evolved toward European territorial cooperation and rural development, particularly in the agricultural and forestry sectors.

A key figure in designing and coordinating complex multi-actor initiatives, Giovanni brings a distinctive focus on bottom-up approaches, partnership building, and context-specific analysis. His experience includes managing integrated forestry supply chain projects and advising local administrations and private stakeholders in the creation of strategic, shared-value initiatives. As president of a forestry consortium, he supports small landowners and enterprises in accessing funding and developing sustainable practices.
