Lonardo Paolino’s path crosses two worlds that are rarely brought together: digital innovation and the regeneration of rural landscapes. After studying Information Science, he spent a decade in the technology sector before founding Extra in 2006. Over time, the company evolved into a group of businesses employing around 550 people and supporting public and private organisations through digital transformation.

In 2023, Leonardo chose to leave the IT sector and invest in a different future on Monte Pisano, where he lives with his family. Through Podere del Pari and Frantoio del Monte Pisano, he is building an integrated model that connects olive growing, high-quality production, tourism, services for local landowners, and territorial collaboration.

His work is rooted in a long-term vision: caring for abandoned olive groves, supporting farmers and hobby growers, creating shared value, and strengthening the relationship between enterprise, institutions, and community. Leonardo sees the territory not simply as a resource to exploit, but as a common project to cultivate over time. His goal is to help Monte Pisano become more resilient, more aware of its potential, and more capable of generating opportunities that can be shared and replicated elsewhere.
