As General Secretary of the Associazione Italiana Nomadi Digitali, Giovanni is dedicated to bridging the gap between remote workers and Italy’s rural and inner areas. Through ethical, place-based projects, he coordinates initiatives that support coliving, coworking, and civic engagement as tools for territorial regeneration. The goal is to foster hybrid communities that contribute to the revitalisation of places often left behind by traditional development models.
With a background that merges engineering, grassroots innovation, and community building, Giovanni brings a systems-thinking approach to complex social and spatial challenges. Collaborating with both public institutions and private actors, he co-designs strategies that address depopulation while enhancing local resilience and sense of belonging.
Guided by the belief that Community Managers can become catalysts of inclusive, sustainable futures, Giovanni works to activate local resources, nurture participation, and build bridges between mobile professionals and rooted communities. From digital nomads to long-term settlers, hiswork envisions a new way of inhabiting and caring for marginalised territories.
