As a lawyer specialising in public procurement and Public–Private Partnerships (PPP), Deborah has built a career at the crossroads of law, entrepreneurship, and innovation. After six years in a boutique legal firm in Milan and one year as Senior Manager in an international network, she launched his own project with a bold vision: transforming abandoned public buildings into investment opportunities for people and territories.
Through PPPs, she guides entrepreneurs, local governments, and third-sector organisations in designing sustainable and innovative projects that breathe new life into territories. From abandoned public buildings reborn as hotels, senior living facilities, student housing, or sports centres, her approach turns challenges into community assets.
Underlying her work is a childhood aspiration: to change the world. Over time, she discovered that real change arises from connecting people, solving problems, and bringing ambitious projects to life. PPP became her chosen tool, a bridge between institutions, businesses, and communities, enabling visions to take shape.
Through Piano48, she continues to cultivate partnerships that regenerate spaces, empower people, and inspire systemic transformation.
