Adrian Olteanu is a Computer Science and Engineering student at TU Delft (The Netherlands), originally from Romania, where his passion for technology was sparked not by machines but by people. Early on, he became curious about how digital tools can quietly unlock opportunities, particularly in places where innovation is slow to arrive but can leave a lasting mark.
Adrian’s path weaves together technical learning and community engagement: he has taught programming, developed software projects, and volunteered with Asociația Se Poate, promoting digital education and cross-border collaboration. These experiences have shaped a belief that technology should bring clarity rather than complexity, focusing not on disruption but on inclusion.
His interests lie in practical applications of digitalization—remote work, co-learning spaces, accessible tools, and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in rural areas.
By joining the HiCoMa network, Adrian brings honesty, humility, and a readiness to contribute. He is less interested in leading change and more invested in being part of it: meeting people where they are, supporting their needs, and helping communities build the skills, confidence, and infrastructure to thrive in a digital world.
