To receive the Europass Highlands Community Manager Certificate, follow these three simple steps (but first enrol !):
1️⃣ Fill out the pre-evaluation form — You will receive it by email. This helps us improve the course and understand your expectations.
2️⃣ Listen to the Key Lessons — Choose the topics that resonate most with your role and your region.
3️⃣ Fill out the post-lesson evaluation form — Your feedback matters, and it unlocks your certificate!

✔️ Attend (watch) at least 1 Round Table
⏳ Complete all activities before January 10th, 2026, at 23:00 (CEST)
The Europass Highlands Community Manager Certificate is an official document that validates your skills and learning at the European level — recognised across countries and sectors. It will be issued starting from the end of January 2026.

The HiCoMa hicoma.eu Research Team addresses Policy makers, organized mountain communities, Pro-loco, Eco-museums, Natural Parks, consortia, SMEs, local action groups, citizens’ associations, practitioners and experts. By creating a network of capable Community Managers, the project aims to contribute to the prosperous future of Europe’s rural and highland areas. Our mission is raising awareness about the role of Community Managers and fostering a professional community supports the priority of enhancing civic engagement and participatory processes in rural development.

The research team constantly interacts with local stakeholders to identify their needs through interviews, focus groups, and participant observation. A needs analysis is then used to tailor the educational offerings accordingly. A structured training course developed through consultation with experts and stakeholders involved in the valorization of rural areas.
By providing practical tools and enhancing job market matching, the project aims to overcome skills mismatches and meet the real needs of the labor market, ultimately contributing to the development of disadvantaged rural areas.Through the training program and various awareness efforts, including a final event and two meetings between potential clients or employers and trained professionals, the project will enhance the dynamics of job market matching.
